Published at 28 November 2025
Scifiniti is proud to have participated as a sponsor and exhibitor at ACU Congress 2025, held from November 26–28 in Nairobi, Kenya. The conference was organized by the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), in collaboration with its official conference partner, the University of Nairobi. This year’s Congress brought together executive heads and senior leaders of ACU member universities from across more than 20 Commonwealth countries, under the theme: “Connected and Resilient: Commonwealth Universities Charting Global Change.”
At the Congress, Scifiniti showcased its portfolio of journals, presented its publishing plans and best practices, and guided institutional leaders on leveraging open-access publishing for academic excellence. Through discussions with delegates, Scifiniti shared information and exchanged ideas on research and publishing.
Scifiniti was represented at the event by Dr. Noor Aldeen S. A. Atatreh, Founder & Chairman of the Board of Directors; Prof. Mohammad Ghattas, Managing Director; and Abdallah Abouhajal, Managing Editor.
As a community-driven organization, participating in major events across Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia has always been a key part of Scifiniti’s strategy to build collaborations with major stakeholders in the region. We greatly valued the opportunity to meet many inspiring people at the event and to expand our network of partners.
We sincerely thank the organizing committee for inviting us to this event and for their excellent work in bringing together the global academic community.
Scifiniti looks forward to continuing its engagement with the global academic community and supporting universities in advancing research and knowledge through open-access publishing.
