Chirine Ghedira Guegan is a Full Professor of Computer Science at iaelyon School of Management, Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, and co-head of the Service Oriented Computing team at LIRIS-CNRS (UMR 5205). She now directs the InfoMaths Doctoral School (ED 512) of the Université de Lyon. Since her PhD (INSA Lyon, 2002), her research has centered on service-oriented computing and large-scale data integration, with major strands in blockchain-based trust and security, data quality and governance in data lakes, and AI-driven service composition, applied notably to health, traceability, and resilient digital infrastructures. She is the founder of the Women in STEM Symposium and a member of the editorial committee of the IEEE International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AICCSA) since 2017. Her work (DBLP, Google Scholar) has drawn over 3,000 citations.
She holds a research habilitation in Computer Science from the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1, a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information for Society, a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, specializing in Economic Organization and Computer Engineering for the Company, and an Engineering degree in Computer Science from INSA Lyon, as well as an Engineering degree in Industrial Computer Science from ENIM Tunisia.
