Latif U. Khan (Member, IEEE) received the M.S. degree (with distinction) in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from Kyung Hee University (KHU), South Korea.
He is the author of two books, Network Slicing for 5G and Beyond and Federated Learning for Wireless Networks. He has served as a reviewer for more than 200 manuscripts submitted to leading Web of Science-indexed journals and international conferences.
He has authored numerous highly cited publications in premier journals and magazines, including IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials, IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Network, and IEEE Wireless Communications. His research interests include optimization theory, game theory, edge computing, end-to-end network slicing, wireless federated learning, and digital twins.
He was the recipient of the Kyung Hee University Best Thesis Award.
