Dr. Sufyan Garoushi joined the University of Turku in 2004 as a PhD candidate in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Biomaterials Science. He completed his PhD in 2006 and his postdoctoral research fellowship in 2008. In 2011, he was awarded a Docentship in Dental Biomaterials by the Department of Biomaterials Science. He is currently involved in undergraduate and postgraduate dental teaching programs. He is also engaged in research at the Turku Clinical Biomaterials Centre (TCBC), focusing on optimizing and reinforcing existing restorative dental materials and developing new restorative dental materials.
