Dr. Khan is a pharmacist by profession and serves as the Stream Leader for Integrated Therapeutics and Clinical Practice at the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia. His research focuses on medication pharmacotherapy, safety and evidence synthesis, randomized clinical trials, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and network meta-analysis. He received the Research Excellence Award from Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Hellen in 2016 and the Best Educator Award from Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Andrew Walker in 2017. He was also granted the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in July 2017.
