The completion of Volume 1 represents a significant milestone in the establishment and development of our journal. This inaugural volume reflects our firm commitment to advancing high-quality, peer-reviewed process in the interconnected fields of food systems, agricultural innovation, environmental health, and sustainability.
The contributions published in this volume demonstrate both scientific rigor and thematic breadth. They address critical and contemporary issues, including sustainability-driven neuromarketing in the food and agribusiness sector, the role of Black Soldier Fly larvae in achieving Sustainable Development Goals, epidemiological assessment of Hepatitis E viruses in shellfish through meta-analysis, advances in traditional and emerging animal breeding technologies, mechanisms of heavy metal–induced lipid peroxidation and protective interventions, and strategic pathways for advancing sustainable food systems through science and collaboration. Collectively, these works exemplify the interdisciplinary scope and scholarly standards that define the journal’s mission.
As Editor-in-Chief, I affirm our strategic objective to position the journal as a respected and internationally recognized platform for impactful research. In the forthcoming volumes, we will continue to strengthen editorial processes, uphold rigorous peer-review standards, expand international participation, and pursue inclusion in reputable indexing and abstracting databases. Enhancing citation visibility, academic influence, and global engagement remains central to our long-term vision.
The successful completion of this first volume would not have been possible without the valuable contributions of our authors, the diligence and expertise of our reviewers, the guidance of our editorial board, and the dedicated support of the publishing team. Their collective efforts have established a strong foundation for sustained growth and academic excellence.
As we proceed to the next volume, we do so with confidence, responsibility, and a clear commitment to fostering scholarship that contributes meaningfully to scientific advancement and societal well-being.
